Lace up your running shoes for this dirty bird 5k trail race!

Only two miles from downtown, Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness presents a unique urban playground for trail runners. Winding through the trails at Ijams Nature Center near Mead's Quarry, participants will encounter plenty of rocks, roots, and climbing to test their grit in this 5k "ish' distance run.

Race Route -  We will run the entirety of Hickory Trail before jumping over to Turnbuckle. Turnbuckle will take us back to Imerys and back to the Quarry.
