where should i park?

Friday 5/2: Park at Ijams Visitor Center, Mead’s Quarry, and Mead’s Quarry Overflow lot. You are also encouraged to Bike in for the festival. Boat drop-off for the group float starts at 4pm - If you are bringing your own boat, drop off your boat at the river launch and then park your car in Mead’s Quarry Overflow lot. The float starts at 6pm.

Saturday 5/3: In addition to Ijams Visitor Center, Mead’s Quarry, and Mead’s Quarry Overflow lot, there will be parking available at TN School for the Deaf and shuttles that go between there and the visitors center.

Do I have to Pay for Parking?

NO! Parking for Outlandish Adventure Festival is free.

go through entry gate and take a right, parking lots will be on the left. Lock car and walk to entry gate volunteer station. Shuttles will pick up at the volunteer station every 15-20 minutes

FROM DOWNTOWN KNOXVILLE VIA GAY STREET

Take Gay St. Bridge south.

Turn left on Sevier Ave.

Sevier Ave. becomes Anita/Hillwood Dr.

Turn right at the stop sign on Island Home Ave.

Ijams is about 1 mile on the left.

FROM I-40W
Take James White Pkwy exit 388A.

Cross Tennessee River and take Sevier Ave./Hillwood Dr. exit.

Turn left on Sevier Ave. (becomes Hillwood Dr.).

Turn right on Island Home Ave.

Ijams is about 1 mile on the left.

FROM I-40E

Take James White Pkwy exit 388A.

Merge on James White Pkwy.

Cross Tennessee River and take Sevier Ave./Hillwood Dr. exit.

Turn left on Sevier Ave. (becomes Hillwood Dr.).

Turn right on Island Home Ave.

Ijams is about 1 mile on the left.
